Sergio Rizo

Born in Rio de Janeiro, 1955. Lives and works in Brasília, Brazil since 1960.

Painter and draughtsman.

Professor of painting and drawing in the University of Brasília.

1999 - 2004 – Doctorate in Art History, Department of History of the University of Brasília.

1991 – Begins to work as Assistant Professor in painting and drawing in the University of Brasília.

1990 – Master in Fine Arts, Major in painting and drawing, Pratt Institute, New York. Granted a scholarship by the Brazilian Government Agency – CNPq.

1978 - 1982 – Studies painting and drawing with the artist Glênio Bianchetti, Brasília.

1974 -1979 – Graduated in Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Brasília.
